The parking structure is linked by an all-weather, climate-controlled walkway directly to the main lobby of the office building. Removable spandrels allow for future horizontal expansion of the garage.

The garage design takes cues from the architecture of the adjacent Blue Cross/Blue Shield member services facility, which provides offices for over 1,400 employees, a cafeteria, a conference/training center, a major data center and a child care center.

The garage is cut into a hillside to accommodate the contours of the site.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield placed a high priority on employee comfort, convenience, and security. The parking facility provides several passive security features: a cantilevered stair landing design which creates a glass fronted stair tower with high pedestrian visibility. Careful attention to lighting, and keycard access offer additional security.
