The garage was built on a tight, oddly-shaped site, very visible in the center of downtown Glens Falls, adjacent to the Travelers Insurance office tower and two churches, each with different surface finishes and architectural styles. Residents and abutters were concerned about the visual impact and esthetics of the new garage.

Unistress was committed to developing an effective parking plan within the tight time frame that the project required. We came up with a creative solution, using carefully chosen aggregate materials, sandblasting techniques, earth tones, and precast panels engineered with recesses and other features. The design manages to echo architectural features of all three abutting buildings, while presenting a pleasant, restrained profile to the street.
